Indo-Canadian Actress, Maple Batalia every year on March 4 and September 28. We

Maple Batalia (March 4,
1992-September 28, 2011) was an Indo-Canadian actress who played in the film
adaptation of Rodrick Rules as one of Rodrick's partygoers. She was an aspiring
model and actress born in Mumbai, India. She and her family moved to Canada
when she was an infant.
On September 28, 2011,
Batalia was shot and killed outside her school campus by her ex-boyfriend
Gurjinder Dhaliwal. Devon Bostick, Melissa Roxburgh, and Robert Capron posted
tributes to her on Twitter for her memory. Dhaliwal has been sentenced to life
