Life without parole should not be a default in this
process. All other less punitive sentencing options should be thoroughly
explored. A blanket move from death to life without parole would ignore the
facts of each case and the redemption that each person is capable of achieving. 2:12

Everybody knows that Helen Prejean fights to end the death penalty, the
above post she twitted about proves that she is for the rights for Criminals
and none for victims of crimes. The next time when you hear her and her
followers mention that they care for Victims’ families, remember this post. She
had lied to you all, truth is she was happy with the 2019
New York Bail Reform.
We, the members of Unit 1012, are truly well aware that once the death
penalty is abolished, the ACLU will want to end LWOP. The death penalty is now
declared unconstitutional in New York, now the murder victims’ families are
pleading with the parole boards not to release their loved ones’ killers. Please
keep in mind, any state that abolishes the death penalty, will abolish LWOP
next.
