We, the members of Unit 1012, will honour and remember 32-year-old Olga Maria
Calderon on July 13 and September 6 every year.
We will not forget her. Let us remember how she lived and not how she
died. We will always support her family members. Please donate to help them in
the funeral expenses.

Olga Maria, my sister, had just celebrated her 32nd
birthday in July. We never imagined it would be her last. Because of the
pandemic and because I probably thought I was too “busy”, that was the last
time I saw her.
Olga Maria was a remarkable woman. She was the world’s very best mom, a loving partner, a dedicated daughter, my big sister, and so much more. Her entire existence revolved around her little family. If you ever had the privilege of knowing her or speaking with her, I know that she would have shared a story about her babies - her 11-year old daughter and 3-year old son.
Olga Maria was my big sister. I never felt the need to worry about her because I knew she had a wonderful husband, Israel, who loved her each and every day. Ever since we were little, she has always taken care of all of us and put others before herself; so, I am grateful that she had someone taking care of her and loving her.
No one can truly fathom the pain that we are feeling. It’s a pain we shouldn’t be experiencing; she should be here today, celebrating Labor Day weekend with us and getting my niece ready for school.
Family members from out-of-state have asked my parents to provide a space to donate money for the funeral expenses and for Israel and the kids. Honestly, anything would truly help.
