As blessed members of Unit 1012, we thank you Father God for the gift of
Jesus, your Son, who, because of the cross, gives us salvation and eternal
life. Because of Him, this Thanksgiving day, we have a great appreciation of
family and dignity. We give thanks for life and its sanctity, for comforting
the families of victims of violent crimes and punishing those who commit them,
while at the same time offering the offenders a chance for redemption. This
holiday season, please send help to those who are hungry, sick, or oppressed,
for the homeless and the helpless and the lonely and the lost. We give thanks
to You, for being our Creator, Protector and provider. Most of all, 1
Thessalonians 5:18 "No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this
is Gods will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." Amen
