JAMIEL’S LAW [IN LOVING MEMORY OF JAMIEL SHAW II (DIED: MARCH 2, 2008)]

            On this date, March 2, 2008, 17-year-old Jamiel Shaw II was shot dead by a Mexican gang member, Pedro Espinoza. Unit 1012 cares for victims and their families regardless of race and nationality. We will endorse Jamiel’s Law and encourage those who know him to remember how he lived and not how he died.
           
            The Killer, Pedro Espinoza is currently on California’s Death Row. Please go to this previous blog post to learn more.

H.R. 1888, "The Jamiel Shaw, Jr. Memorial Act of 2013" will require the FBI to track illegal alien crime, make those reports public, and withhold federal funding for sanctuary cities that refuse to work with ICE in identifying and deporting illegal alien criminals.

Four family members of Jamiel Shaw Jr, 17, who was killed by 18th Street gang member Pedro Espinoza, 19, in 2008 during the ongoing conflict between several Bloods sets and several factions of 18th Street made Victim Impact Statements in open court during sentencing.

Four family members, Althea Shaw (Aunt), Hector Davis (Uncle) , Anita Shaw (Mother) and Jamiel Shaw Sr. (Father) all spoke asking the judge to impose the most serious judgement of death against Pedro Espinoza who was convicted earlier in 2012
